RENATO TARMA

Art has always been my way of making sense of the world around me. Growing up in Lima, Peru, I discovered graffiti on my daily walks to school—bold, raw, and alive with expression. What began as fascination became a lifelong journey of exploring composition, depth, and the emotional impact of design.

STATEMENT

Before I understood art, I understood feeling. My mother, born deaf, taught me to notice the unspoken—the weight of a glance, the movement of hands, the way color can carry meaning. I found that same silent language in graffiti, where letters danced and colors pulsed with energy. What started as an obsession became a way of seeing, shaping my approach to art and design today—where every line, every color choice, is a conversation waiting to be heard.
